I started AK Photo & Video in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. Living next to Lake Tahoe and working at Squaw Valley USA, I used my knowledge of photography and videography to keep the dream alive. After returning to my roots in New York, I still see the beauty surrounding us. Whether that beauty manifests itself in light, emotion, land, sea or cityscape, I constantly challenge myself to capture it moving or frozen in time.
